The third TradeWinds Outsourcing Forum was hosted at the Grand Hotel in Oslo on November 18, 2009. It was interesting to meet with participants representing a variety of companies, from Ship Suppliers to IT to Ship Managers and Ship Owners. It certainly reinforced the industry’s need for outsourcing. In particular with today’s lack of supply of well trained seagoing personnel and difficulties for Ship Owners to keep up with new regulations. The demand for qualified personnel have increased considerably during the last few years.
IMS now supplies personnel to all types for repairs, maintenance, retrofits and additional equipment installations. In particular have we seen increase in orders for installation of new equipment related to environmental regulations.

IMs workforce is multi-disciplined for all types of installations. We work with suppliers or directly for the Owners, seeking the best solution to a quality, safety and cost effective completion.
