Over the past 4 years, IMS has been a major supplier of personnel to the STX Tulcea Shipyard, formerly Aker Yards, Tulcea. From day one, the focus has always been on supplying the best qualified personnel where safety in all activities comes first. Through a close cooperation with the shipyard’s production department, we enjoy today a solid relationship. The shipyard in return has provided to IMS and our workers a safe and sound place of employment. Without this, we would not be where we are today.

The core group of personnel have been coded welders and fitters. A site office was set up inside the yard where safety meetings/briefings are held and work coordinated. Through close cooperation between our site Supervisor, Mr. Marin and the office in Constanta headed by Mr. Raducan, issues of importance are discussed and solved in combination with a continuous process of seeking improvements. Through daily contact with shipyard production personnel, production schedules and day to day issues are discussed and confirmed.
