IMS Norway AS renews agreement with Westcon for supply of qualified personnel to their yard facility in Ølensvåg.

IMS personnel engaged at Westcon as well as any other customer are screened and recruited by the IMS Poland branch. Through our focus on safety first, each worker employed must complete an IMS in-house safety training course. The course touches on all safety, health and environmental issues related to the specific work carred out. Upon completion of the course, each worker must take and pass a written test. In addition to the safety training, the worker must also complete a "varmearbeider course" as required for employment witihn the Norwegian yard industry. Through cooperation with Norwegian authorities, the course and exam is taken on line in Poland prior to the worker being dispatched to Westcon. Upon successfully pasing the exam, the worker receives via mail a certificate issued by Norsk Brannvernforening.
