Project managers/supervisors, coded welders and steel fitters with wide experience from new building, hull construction, block assembly and setting.  IMS personnel are contracted to shipyards where experiences include construction of the following type of vessels:

Cruise liners
Container vessels
PSV/AHTS vessels
Tankers
Bulk Carriers
Barges

IMS offers  long experience from on-voyage repairs of steel structures, both scheduled and emergency repairs. IMS will provide steel weight calculations inclusive of repair procedures for pre-approval by the respective CLassification Society. The majority of repairs have been carried out on voyage where off-hire has been reduced to a minimum. From several cases where the scope has required final repairs while in dry-dock, IMS has carried out temproary repairs allowing the vessel to operate until the next scheduled dry-dock.
